Project Overview

In March 2025, Circle FUK Group was appointed by Triton Construction Ltd to deliver a comprehensive package of cleaning and site support services at a refurbished industrial unit in Liverpool. This project formed a critical part of a larger construction programme aimed at revitalising and preparing the facility for new commercial use.

The works supported both the refurbishment process and the final handover, ensuring that the site remained safe, compliant, and presentation-ready at every stage.

Objectives

The primary goal was to provide end-to-end cleaning and presentation services throughout the project lifecycle, supporting Triton’s construction schedule and ensuring a seamless transition to a tenant-ready facility. Key objectives included:

  • Maintaining internal and external cleanliness during all phases of construction

  • Supporting health and safety compliance on a busy multi-trade site

  • Delivering specialist washdowns and cleans aligned with key milestones and final handover

Scope of Works

Circle UK Group remit covered a full range of site cleaning and support services, including:

  • Internal and external cleaning throughout construction

  • Roof washdowns and gutter clearance

  • Cladding and window cleaning

  • Waste removal and site presentation

  • Final builders’ clean and detailed sparkle clean prior to handover

This comprehensive approach ensured the site was kept safe, functional, and visually presentable — from the early build stages to the final inspection.

Challenges & Solutions

Delivering cleaning services in a live construction environment required strategic planning and agile execution. The project team successfully navigated several challenges:

1. Multi-Trade Coordination

With multiple contractors working simultaneously, cleaning tasks had to be carefully scheduled and closely coordinated with Triton’s site management. Circle FM achieved this through regular progress meetings, flexible workflows, and proactive communication.

2. Roof Access & Safety

Roof washdowns introduced additional risk and complexity. Circle FM mitigated these by developing robust RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements) and deploying trained operatives with appropriate access equipment.

3. Weather Conditions

External and roof-based activities were significantly influenced by weather conditions. The team responded with a dynamic scheduling approach, allowing for rapid mobilisation and rescheduling to minimise delays and maintain programme integrity.

Results & Outcomes

Despite the operational challenges, Circle consistently delivered high standards of cleanliness and site support throughout the project. Our team’s contribution enhanced site safety, streamlined construction activities, and ensured the refurbished facility was delivered on time, on budget, and with a professional finish.

The result is a modernised, fully operational industrial unit that meets all client and regulatory requirements — ready for tenant occupation and future commercial use.
